I am an Orthodox Christian, husband, father, and software developer (in that order).
|
|
|
|
|
My wife and I currently have two lovely children, a son born in 2022 and a daughter born in 2025.
|
|
|
|
|
I grew up moving around a lot, but I spent a majority of my formative years down in sunny Florida.
|
|
|
|
|
I have a BA in Mechanical Engineering from University of Central Florida and a PhD in Material's Science from Georgia Tech.
|
|
|
|
|
My PhD was in computational metallurgy which unluckily doesn't offer many well-paying employment opportunities.
|
|
|
|
|
Luckily though, my real passion was always actually developing the software, so I happily pivoted to a backend engineer role.

My hobbies in the past have included Capoeira, MMA, bouldering, and backpacking.

|
|
|
Lately I just try to find time to stay fit and do some side-project work after the kids are asleep.
